How to gain more free time declutter and simplify our life: my Not To-Do List

As everybody knows and uses a popular to-do list which is highly adviceable to have for a time planer person. Or effective manager. Or project manager. TO have it on paper. to have to-do list on PDA or on mobile communicator with tasks function.
But as practice shows it may appear “Not to-do” lists are often more effective than usual to-do lists. Why?
Because it’s about saving our wasted time and simplifying your life to achieve more and to concentrate on your main goals.
The Not To-do list simply makes your usual to-do list smaller. It shinks it to more manageable size. Have you notified what when your to-do list grows significantly it becomes difficult to manage to overview to keep what is important in mind?
When making this list you must ask yourself - what activities I make during every day consumes my time most?, and which of them get no profit and are not aligned to my life goals?
SO here is this famous My Not to do list:
- Stop checking email every 1 hour or even more often, just check email 2 times a day. 1 time at 10.00 AM, and once at 16.00 PM. (don’t bother - world will not collapse - people who will need you urgently, will contact you other ways - by cell phone, sms, etc..)
- Don’t stay connected online on the internet when you are working hard. (if you have already some material, Internet is not necessary any more, just because it makes only disturbances, no use..)
- Every day turn off your mobile phone at night and at hard working hours. this will help to rest and to concentrate on the real things.
- Stop going shopping for every 2 days, why not to do it one time a week?
- Stop having tea/cofee every 1 hour on work hours, just have it after your important task is completed as a reward for job.
- Stop reading full articles on a newspaper. Read headlines only and stop only on the articles which make sense for you and your 1 months goals not bigger timeframe. (you will not remember the information you have read after 1 month, if you need it after month, Timm Ferris suggest.)
- After getting “an urgent task” or askings for “urgent help” from colleagues, think again - is it really urgent? If not, gather all the tasks into a bundle and do them all in one step at some certain day of the week.
- Don’t go to the office meetings without asking about the topic and agenda and the necessity for you. Do important things for you. Not important things to others.
- Don’t try to avoid important tasks for you by just filling time before the main tasks with unnecessary junk actions (for example junk newspaper reading, tea drinking, coffee drinking before a main important task to be done)
- Don’t leave your work desktop with papers and other stuff not needed and disctracting you.
- Don’t keep clothes you have never used after buying for long time - throw them away!
And know what? what is the main goal of this decluttering process?
- THis way you will have plenty of time for you, so you will not have to eat JUNK FOOD to save time.
Just go to good restaurant and order super meal, which could be served after one hour, you are not in a hurry,
- You have decluttered your life, and now deserve a good time out and relax!
Keep life simple.
