How to recognize optimist and pessimist, and how to be true optimist
Optimism is seeing the glass “half full” of water as opposed to half empty
Wikipedia.
We know about the power of optimism. If we look at the world in optimistic way we can achieve much more, treating the world as positive place to live reprograms us to do things better and to behave in better way.
The main differences between optimist and pessimist are clear in bad situations:
When things go wrong, Optimist looks for temporary and specific explanations,
for example - ”I haven’t succeeded in work today, because my boss was in a bad mood”,
“I forgot to buy planned items in the shop,
because I was doing other interesing activities”.
When things go wrong, Pessimist looks for deep-seated or permanent problems,
for example - ”I haven’t succeeded at my job, because I am always looser, and I can’t work well”,
I forgot to buy planned items in the shop, because I always forget it”.

Many studies have focused on the differences on the people who are pessimistic and who are optimistic. And they found that optimists are not realistic. Pessimists after attempt to do something to learn something always look at their past and analyse their failures. They like to call themselves as realistic people. They say often “lets be realistic”. But Saying this they always condition themselves as generators of failures.
Optimists at other hand don’t analyse too much of their failures, they admit errors learn from them and always look at future. Optimists’ motto could be “The past doesn’t equal the future” (A. Robbins). Optimists paying not much attention to realism or to failures are creating faith unbroken faith of the future and the success. The main point don’t deal with failures too much, learn from them and go further, Future is different form the past!
